FM-2026 handpiece

The FM-2026 handpiece is a special soldering iron, allowing the creation of the solder joints in a nitrogen atmosphere.

Its use requires N2 supply and a Hakko FX-791 nitrogen controller. The typical setup for N2 soldering is shown below:

Applicable systems:

FX-950 soldering system FX-951 soldering system FX-952 soldering system   FM-203 rework system FM-206 rework system

Applicable tip series: T13

For the even dispensing of the N2 gas around the tip, a nozzle assembly should be used.
The following nozzle assemblies are available, for the different tip shapes:

Nozzle assembly type A (B2706): for tip shapes 2BC
Nozzle assembly type B (B2707): for tip shapes 0.2J
Nozzle assembly type C (B2708): for tip shapes 1.6D, 2.4D
Nozzle assembly type D (B2709): for tip shapes 0.8D
Nozzle assembly type E (B2898): for tip shapes BL
Nozzle assembly type F (B2899): for tip shapes 1BC
Nozzle assembly type G (B2900): for tip shapes 3BC
Nozzle assembly type H (B2901): for tip shapes KU
Nozzle assembly type I (B2902): for tip shapes KR
Nozzle assembly type J (B2923): for tip shapes KF

Power consumption: 70W (24V)
Temperature range: 200 – 450ºC
Heating element: Composite ceramic heater, integrated with the tip
Cord length: 1.2m
Total length: 205mm (with 2.4D tip)
Weight: 45g (with 2.4D tip and nozzle assembly C)
